Times Square Disney Store Exclusives

A few weekends ago my husband and I took a trip into the city to visit my mom at Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital. Afterwards we made our way over to Times Square to check out the new Disney Store.

Please disregard my lack of makeup and bad hair day. I didn't dress up to visit the hospital.

First let me say, that I was a little dissappointed with the outside of the store. We literally walked by it twice while trying to find it because it just didn't stand out like the Toys R Us or the Hershey store did. The store isn't as big as I thought it would be, but I have a large Disney Store at my local mall so that is probably why.

When you first walk in you are greeted by Time Square exlusive merchandise. It was very cute, but being a New Yorker, most of it is stuff I wouldn't bother owning. As much as I love NY I don't usually broadcast it on my clothing. If you are a tourist however, it is some of the CUTEST New York merchandise I have ever seen.

This is a cute swing/ferris wheel type thing they have set up on the first floor. It's very cute. There are Disney characters and kids in Disney clothes riding it. It moved a little too quick for my cell phone to get a good picture but here is Minnie having a spin.

These were probably one of my favorite things in the store...
Mickey Ears with the Statue of Liberty crown. These are  MUST HAVE for any tourist in my opinion. I have made a vow to never wear a Statue of Liberty Crown around NYC otherwise these would have been mine. I did make an exception to take a quick picture so I could show the details though. Arent they adorable?!

Now... on to my favorite thing from the store. Which, yes I did purchase. A Times Square Exclusive Vinylmation.

I LOVE this Vinylmation. The detail is fabulous and the tin is awesome. It was worth the trip to the store for that alone. But wait... I'm not done yet...
The Times Square store also has.... PINS!!!

I only bought one. There were some cute pins, but I just didn't see spending that much money on NYC souveniers. There was a Minnie Mouse pin that was part of a set that I desperately wanted, but it wasn't sold seperately. So, to go with the theme of the day I purchased this one...at $12.50 it was a little ridiculous and I feel that if it were in WDW the same pin might have been a $9.50 one. Oh well, it was cute, and it was a pin! I needed it.

Have you been to the Times Square Disney Store? If so, I'd love to hear about your experience!
