New Vinylmation Mold - Popcorns

I just read an article over at VinylmationKingdom.com about a new mold being released for a new line of Disney Vinylmations. The Vinylmation Popcorns...

Not sure how I feel about this, since I still miss the original mold of the original vinylmations.

Check out the article HERE and then come back and tell me what you think!

My Disney Bucket List

The theme for this week's Disney Blog Hop fit perfectly into my plans for this week! I am planning my 30th birthday celebration that will take place in December of this year so I was already thinking about all of the cool things I want to do at Disney World. Some of these things I hope to cross off my list for my birthday. The rest, before I join Walt on the other side so that I can tell him just how amazing they all were.

My Disney Bucket List (not in any particular order)
  • Run a 1/2 Marathon
  • Run the Disney World Marathon
  • Drink Around The World
  • Parasail
  • See the Cinderella's Castle suite in person *extra points for spending the night*
  • Complete the Magic Kingdom Ultimate Touring Plan
  • Dive in EPCOT Living Seas
  • Be in a parade
  • Dine at Club 33
  • Go to Disneyland
  • Work as a Cast Member at any Disney theme park or cruise ship
There are more but for right now these are my big ones.

So tell me, what is on YOUR Disney bucket list?

Disney Blog Hop: Special Smiles with the Characters Edition

One of my favorite parts of Disney World is getting to meet the characters. Seriously, I'm like a little kid. I get so excited with some of them that I can't even speak and blush when asking for a hug. Getting to meet the penguins from Mary Poppins is one of my favorite Disney memories because of how "offended" Mary got when I asked her if I could take a photo with the penguins alone. The penguins did an excited little dance and then followed me around for a few minutes. It was pretty awesome.

My husband always finds something fun to do in the photos. I'm a little jealous, but my big goofy smile makes up for my lack of creativity. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.

Be sure to stop by the Disney Blog Hop for more character photos!

Who is your favorite Disney character?

A First Look at the Newest Disney Cruise Ship - the Disney Fantasy

From The Disney Blog:
The Disney Fantasy floated out of the enclosed building dock on Sunday and was greeted by the applause of thousands of people who came to witness this major milestone. Now, construction crews continue to put the final touches on this majestic ship.

Click HERE for more information about Disney's new cruise ship, the Fantasy.
For more information about sailing dates and other Disney Cruise Line ships and/or itineraries please email me or fill out the form on my Disney Travel website. I'm not just obsessed with Disney, I'm also a graduate of the Disney College of Knowledge and an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.

Disneyland Celebreates: Three Kings Day

For the very first time Disneyland is extending their holiday celebrations this year to include Three Kings Day, also known as Dia de Reyes. While also celebrated by other cultures, Disneyland will be focusing on the Latin American traditions which remember the night that the Three Wise Men delivered their gifts to the baby Jesus.

From the Disney Parks Website:

Special food carts will appear in Zocalo Park, serving special Three Kings Day treats, and the seasonal menu at Rancho del Zocalo restaurant will include tamales and Mexican hot chocolate.
Here’s a look at what will be offered during the celebration:
  • Rosca de Reyes, the “Mexican Kings Bread” with a hidden whole almond nut or “almendra”
  • Sweet corn tamale with pineapple and cajeta (caramel sauce) dessert
  • Savory blue corn tamale with Monterey Jack cheese and a green chili tomatillo sauce, with a corn chili relish
  • Strawberry-filled churros
The Three Kings Day celebration at Disneyland park will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Zocalo Park (which is Spanish for “Town Square”) in Frontierland. Walt Disney envisioned Frontierland as a showcase for America’s Western and Mexican heritage, and this celebration will continue that vision.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will appear in their Fiesta costumes and other characters will join them, including the Three Caballeros: Donald Duck, Jose Carioca and Panchito! Entertainment highlights will include folklorico dance along with musical performances by the Grammy-winning Mariachi Divas. Children will have the opportunity to participate in face painting, coloring, crown decorating and other activities.

I wish I was going to be there!
